Why are you joining the Transpartisan Alliance's scocial network site?

I believe both mainstream political parties are completely out of touch with the popular will and I long for true democracy. Having traveled a lot, staying in diverse homes and never shying away from political discussion, I believe I've got some good observations and ideas to share.

What is the broken part of our political game you think transpartisan politics might address?

Perhaps we could agree upon fundamental changes that encourage respectful inclusive dialogue. "Winner takes all" elections, for example, default to a divisive two-party system. Proportional representation and ranked preference voting lead us to a healthy multiparty democracy where, when no one party holds a majority, each are encouraged to collaborate with the others, dividing differently on different issues.
