Peter Hwosch, core team member of the Transpartisan Alliance

Peter Hwosch is a filmmaker, Compassionate Listening facilitator, musician and project director with various non-profits around the world. Peter is a member of the core team of The Transpartisan Alliance and has been documenting this work and the work of Reuniting America since 2006, having produced numerous short films introducing this work. Additionally Peter is co-developing the Transpartisan Toolbox, a set of personal and inter personal tools for dialog, conflict resolution and deepening understanding for navigating challenges in conflicted environments.

Peter has worked in Israel/Palestine with The Compassionate Listening Project, co-producing two films on this work. He lived in the Balkans for four years co-directing The Seedlings of Peace Summer Camp, bringing youth from all three sides of the war in former Yugoslavia together to learn communication skills and foster relationship. Peter produced Beyond These Narrow Borders, a film chronicling this work. Hwosch’s work with The Toolbox Project, a social/emotional literacy curriculum for K-5th grades has included films and media, as well as general development support.

Peter has extensive experience holding the center in very conflicted environments and presents screenings, workshops and concerts of his original music, to organizations, businesses, interested groups, schools and Universities around the world.
